The children come down to the second floor landing, near the place where they first encountered Mary Poppins.

George receives phone call from the bank and is requested to report back there at 9:00 pm.

The children, having escaped the chaos at the bank are in a state of chaos themselves;

“The Fidelity Fiduciary Bank” is the next song we hear.

George Banks is still cross and angry when he returns home that evening, ignoring Admiral Boom, George is a man on a mission.

The children start out to do some errands with Mary Poppins, but along the way, they encounter Andrew the dog at the entrance to the park

Because they are soaking wet, Mary insists that the children take their medicine, which Michael opposes.

Mary leaves with the children, all of them singing and sliding down the banister, which puts Ellen into a state of confusion.

Meanwhile, the wind has picked up and the Nannies begin to blow away down the street, toward the park entrance.
